Tina Kavarligos is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and is a EMDR Certified Therapist  (EMDRIA).

Tina is highly regarded by her patients for her collaborative approach, meeting them where they are and tailoring her interventions to provide optimal support. With over 20 years of experience, she draws from a rich background in treating children, adolescents, adults, and families across diverse settings. This breadth of experience enhances her ability to foster effective collaboration not only with patients but also with their existing healthcare providers, ensuring a comprehensive and coordinated approach to care, especially for those dealing with gastrointestinal disorders.

Tina earned her Master’s in Professional Counseling from Argosy University, followed by specialized training in dual diagnoses of substance use and mental health disorders. This foundation equips her to address the interconnected nature of various issues, which is particularly essential in her work with gut-brain connection disorders.

In her practice, Tina partners with patients to identify their specific concerns and offers evidence-based treatment recommendations grounded in scientific research. She emphasizes skill-building, empowering her patients to implement and sustain positive changes
