Dr. Chandler Broadbent is a licensed Clinical Psychologist. In 2025, she received the 2025 SCEH Presidential Award after co-leading the organization’s national introductory hypnosis workshop from Society for Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis (SCEH).

Dr. Broadbent is passionate about helping patients better understand the connection between their physical health and emotional well-being, empowering them to move from feeling controlled by their symptoms to living fuller, more meaningful lives. She specializes in the treatment of disorders of gut-brain interaction (DGBIs), chronic pain, and other complex medical conditions, which has led her to believe that while patients may not be able to control every aspect of their condition, they often have far more influence over their health and quality of life than they realize.

Dr. Broadbent earned her Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology from California Baptist University before completing her internship and postdoctoral fellowship in Health Psychology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s Osher Center for Integrative Health. During her training, she provided evidence-based, goal-oriented treatment for individuals living with a wide variety of complex medical conditions, including chronic pain, IBS, insomnia, and functional disorders. She also completed specialized training in urology, treating patients with interstitial cystitis/bladder pain syndrome, pelvic floor dysfunction, and lower urinary tract symptoms while serving as an interventionist on an NIH-funded clinical trial.

Dr. Broadbent brings her authentic self into every session, creating a therapeutic space where patients feel safe enough to be vulnerable and confident enough to grow. Patients often say she has a unique ability to meet them exactly where they are, combining genuine connection with practical, evidence-based strategies that foster lasting change. Dr. Broadbent believes healing begins with feeling truly understood. Her authentic, collaborative style helps patients build trust, develop new skills, and rediscover hope.

Outside of work, Dr. Broadbent enjoys spending time with her family, relaxing by the pool, attending live music and country concerts, exercising, knitting, crafting with her Cricut, interior decorating, watching reality TV and Jeopardy!, and spending time with her dogs.

Dr. Chandler Broadbent has advanced training in:

  • Clinical Hypnosis
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, with condition specific approaches
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)
