Dr. Megan Riehl is a highly experienced GI psychologist specializing in gastropsychology and the management of GI conditions. As a Senior Consultant for GI Psychology, she plays a pivotal role in enhancing the practice’s ability to deliver top-tier care and accelerate growth toward its mission. By offering expert consultation, Dr. Riehl ensures that the program’s treatment approaches align with the latest scientific advancements and best practices in brain-gut behavioral therapies.

 As a leader in gastropsychology, Dr. Riehl advances the field through her active involvement in prestigious organizations, including the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterological Association, and the Gastropsych section of the Rome Foundation. She also serves as a National Board Trustee for the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation and is a member of the scientific advisory boards for Nerva-Mindset Health and Tumme IBS Healthcare.   Her extensive research and clinical expertise have led to numerous peer-reviewed publications and an upcoming book, Mind Your Gut: The Science-Based, Whole-Body Guide to Living Well with IBS. Through speaking engagements at national and international conferences, and media appearances on platforms such as Sirius XM Doctor Radio, NPR, and television, Dr. Riehl continues to advocate for the integration of behavioral health in gastrointestinal care, helping the practice remain at the forefront of innovation and excellence in the field.
